RENO, NV. The Silver State 50/50, held each year in Reno, Nevada, is an endurance run rich in history and known to be one of the most challenging courses on the West Coast. Saturday, May 16, 2015 will mark the 30th running of the 50k and and 50mi trail run as well as the 7th running of the ½ marathon distance. This high desert trail traces a spectacular single track through both desert and forest, forcing you up steep grades with rewarding descents. Just 6 weeks before the Western States 100, the Silver State 50/50 is widely known as a perfect prep race for those looking to gauge their training accurately.
