Dean starts his 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 days in St. Louis, MO running with his best friend Topher Gaylord.
Day 2 - Memphis, TN
Dean and the group encountered a day of heavy rain. Dean likes to see everyone accomplish their goals and helps a woman with her water bottles.
Day 3 - Waveland, MS
Dean runs in Mississippi in 88 degree weather and 95 percent humidity. Dean is suprised at the number of people that show up to run the recreated events.
Day 7 - Lincoln, NE
Dean and the group motivate Sarah to the finish line of her very first marathon.
Day 10 - Deadwood, SD
Teacher's across the US are using Dean's adventure in thier lesson plans. The Spearfish Middle School students were out to support and run with Dean durning his visit to South Dakota.
Day 14 - Bellevue, WA
Running a marathon is as much mental as it is physical. Sometimes, the best way to get to the finish is to lighten up the mood. Mike from Canada did just that with his unique talents. He is OK and sent two emails to make sure this was posted to the web. Enjoy! :)
